Anuket was an ancient Egyptian goddess primarily associated with the Nile River,
embodying its fertility, nourishment, and the life-giving power of its annual flood.
Originating as a Nubian deity, she was depicted as a woman wearing
a headdress of reeds or feathers and often accompanied by a sacred gazelle.
Worshipped in a triad with the gods Khnum and Satis at Elephantine Island, her name, meaning "the embracer," refers to the way her arms represented the tributaries of the Nile.
Geb is the god of the earth and is often depicted as a male figure lying on his back,
with his arms and legs outstretched to represent the land.
He is considered a fundamental deity, representing the physical foundation of the world and embodying fertility and abundance.
