Anuket was an ancient Egyptian goddess primarily associated with the Nile River,
embodying its fertility, nourishment, and the life-giving power of its annual flood.

Originating as a Nubian deity, she was depicted as a woman wearing
a headdress of reeds or feathers and often accompanied by a sacred gazelle.

Worshipped in a triad with the gods Khnum and Satis at Elephantine Island, her name, meaning "the embracer," refers to the way her arms represented the tributaries of the Nile.

Hapi is the ancient Egyptian god of the annual Nile inundation,
which brought fertile silt and ensured agricultural prosperity.

Depicted as a fat, androgynous figure with a large belly,
breasts, and a false beard, Hapi symbolized abundance and fertility.

Water plants often adorn his headdress, and his skin could be blue or green,
symbolizing the water and life he brought.

Hapi was widely celebrated, with hymns dedicated to him and offerings made to ensure a plentiful flood and a successful harvest.
